Engineering has many positive effects, but it is never more important than in the field of human health. Sponsored by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), this course opens the door to a career that will improve lives – and even save them. You’ll explore the design of medical devices and the role of engineering in rehabilitation, research and patient safety, gaining a real understanding of modern healthcare.
What will I be doing?
• Designing and building a device to solve a clinical problem
