Our Projects
Lesson 1:
Earthquake Simulator
Dive into the world of coding with the SPIKE™ Prime app. Discover the foundational concepts and set the stage for the upcoming lessons
*Â Â Please note: Downloading ‘All Resources’ may take time due to file size
Lesson 2:
Explore and Communicate
Beginner:Â Learn to program a robot vehicle, mastering its movement and turning capabilities using word blocks.
Advanced:Â Enhance your robot vehicle’s movement and turning skills using word blocks, complemented by the gyro sensor for more precise navigation.
Lesson 3:
Search and Rescue
Beginner:Â Delve into programming a colour sensor and an additional motor. Introduce yourself to the concept of variables to store and manipulate data.
Advanced:Â Elevate your programming skills by integrating a colour sensor, an extra motor, and harnessing the power of Boolean expressions alongside variables.
Lesson 4:
Pipeline Problems
Beginner:Â Control and master the functionalities of both a colour and a distance sensor using word blocks, enhancing the robot’s environmental awareness.
Advanced:Â Transition into the realm of text-based programming with Python, focusing on the capabilities of a distance sensor to interpret surroundings.
Lesson 5:
Tsunami Situation
Beginner:Â Tackle challenges and solve problems using word blocks, applying the coding knowledge you’ve acquired.
Advanced:Â Dive deeper into problem-solving, employing Python as your programming tool to devise solutions.
Lesson 6:
Mission Complete
Assess the knowledge gained throughout the course, reflecting on the coding skills acquired and the real-world applications of these competencies.
Next Steps:
FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE
Teachers, introduce your students to the FIRST® LEGO® League Masterpiece, a transformative STEM challenge for ages 9-16. This competition not only sparks curiosity about real-world themes but also equips them with essential future skills.
