Coding Success 4: Robot Academy! includes 4 adaptable Missions. Each Mission can be adapted to meet pupils’ needs and tailored to meet the time available. Teachers choose the best route for their learners – the beginner, intermediate or advanced route. See the Route Guide in Essential Resources to help support you in making this choice.

Our Projects
Mission 1:
Robodog Race!
Explore how humans and robots work together! Students will use the SPIKE Prime Robodog build to race along a track and look at how robotic dogs are used in the real world.
Mission 2:
Robot Academy
Students will be introduced to the SPIKE Prime Grabot hardware. Use code to make Grabot practise different movements on the Robot Academy Coding Mat.
Mission 3:
Skills Boost
Using the SPIKE Prime Grabot build, explore coding the colour and distance sensors on Grabot to further Grabot’s skills.
Mission 4:
Skills Boost
Building on Mission 1-3 learnings, students will investigate if the SPIKE Prime Learner robot has AI features, and will consider the importance of human qualities and skills in the world of robotics and AI.

Choose your Coding Success route
Beginner
The ‘Beginner’ plan (B) is designed for pupils who are new to coding or who are building their confidence
Intermediate
The ‘Intermediate’ plan (I) is designed for pupils who have some experience of coding and are ready for more challenge
Advanced
The ‘Advanced’ plan (A) ‘ is a more challenging route, designed for pupils who are looking for an experience of coding using Python
