What will they discover?

Throughout the course, students will be introduced to three fascinating branches of engineering they might one day study at university:

*Cyber Security – learn about the basic principles of cyphers, encryption and cyber safety. Through fun puzzles and videos, students will discover the importance of strong passwords, online research, and privacy.

*Electrical Engineering – Students step into the world of automotive engineering. They explore key concepts such as aerodynamics, energy storage, and high-performance design. The practical challenge includes building prototype rovers powered by supercapacitor circuits.

*Space – Students will design and build prototype spacecraft while exploring their real-world applications in communication, research and space exploration.

Along the way, participants will sharpen teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills—and gain insight into STEM careers that could take them across the globe.

Please note this is a virtual course, we will post out the kit to take part at least 1-2 weeks ahead of the course but it may be sooner than this, we will send you a notification ahead of posting.

*If you have previously attended an Engineering Experience course you may have already completed some of the modules above, please evaluate whether this program offers a suitable learning experience. If you are unsure, please contact info@smallpeicetrust.org.uk
