Yorkshire Primary Schools - Virtual STEM Quest - TWO days 16th & 25th Jun

We’re inviting pupils in Years 5–6 to join us for two days (9.30am-3pm) of hands‑on, interactive STEM learning. Delivered via a virtual livestream straight to your classrooms on Tues 16th Jun AND Thurs 25th Jun. Our specialist STEM educators will guide your students through engaging design-and-build challenges. Why take part? It’s completely free. Kit is provided and shipped to you It supports the National Curriculum. Activities align with core learning in science, technology, engineering and maths. All delivered virtually. No travel, no extra planning—we bring the challenge to you.

WHAT

Tuesday 16th June Transport: Students explore how energy can be stored and released to create motion – designing and building their own rubber band–powered car. Encryption Challenge: Students take on a logic‑based codebreaking activity. Working as a team, they’ll use problem‑solving and pattern‑spotting skills to crack number codes. Thurs 25th June Flight: You students will design, build, and test their own gliders! Meet the STEM Trailblazers: An interactive online event where you will meet real life STEM professionals from a range of exciting sectors. During session your students can ask our Trailblazers questions about their jobs and lives plus they will also take part in our exciting live quiz! Throughout the session they will step into the role of engineers—experimenting, testing ideas and developing confidence in their creativity, teamwork and lateral thinking.
