Primary school projects

All of our Primary school projects have been designed to bring the excitement of STEM to the classroom. We know how important it is to spark and maintain a students interest through fun, hands on activities, all aligned to the curriculum.

Thanks to our amazing funders, our STEM days are normally offered free to state schools in the UK. We also offer these days on a paid for basis to any school.

At our Primary School events students take part in a simplified version of the engineering process: design, build, test, and compete. They are a great introduction to engineering, as well as developing key skills such as teamwork and creativity.

Virtual STEM activities

Our virtual STEM Quest is an innovative programme to keep the excitement of STEM activities live all year.

Students will join virtually for one day each term and tackle a hands-on Discovery Mission in the morning, creating Rubber Band Cars, Circuits or Structures. They will be challenged to continually test and improve on their designs and evaluate what they’ve done. In the afternoon, they will participate in a Side Quest during Autumn and Summer, a mini challenge to spark their curiosity. During the Spring term session, students will have a ‘Meet the Trailblazers’ session, where they meet role models in the STEM world, ask them questions and participate in an interactive quiz.

Our Discovery Missions are also bookable as individual sessions.
