A free online course aimed at attracting a diverse range of students, typically aged between 15 – 16 years old and introducing them to more advanced practical features of cyber security.
CyberFirst Futures is a free online course aimed at attracting a diverse range of students typically aged between 15 – 16 years old in Year 11 (England and Wales), Year 12 (Northern Ireland) and S5 (Scotland). It introduces them to the more advanced practical features of cyber security by developing their understanding of cyber-attacks, by exploring the reasoning and motivation of common attacks. Students will explore legislation and the typical profiles of those individuals most likely to carry out attacks while applying an understanding of ways to protect a network from attack. Each course will run as half day sessions over 10 days where the content will be delivered in our usual fun and interesting way. Students will be automatically assigned either a morning or afternoon session when their place is confirmed.
