CyberFirst Girls Development Day is a one-day event for those girls who wish to continue their CyberFirst journey. This free day is open to any year 8 or year 9 girl (regardless of whether you entered the CyberFirst Girls Competition in 2019 and in 2020) – places are limited so don’t delay and sign up fast.

Regardless of whether you entered the CyberFirst Girls Competition in 2019 or in 2020, if you are in year 8 and 9 (S2/S3 Scotland or year 9/10 in NI), you are eligible to apply for a FREE place on a one-day Development Day in locations across the country. The day is designed to recreate the excitement from the competition and increase your understanding of the different specialisms within Cyber Security and equip you with some valuable practical skills. You will be part of a scenario, where you are working for a Cyber security company called Sirius Cyberworks. They are a fictitious company who create very popular games and Apps for Apple and Android devices. Unfortunately, disaster has struck and there has been a serious breach of the company network. A new flagship App has been leaked and your role is to work with your friends through four different parts of the company, uncovering what’s happened and learning new cyber skills along the way.
