Discover where engineering can take you, from the comfort of your own home, on this Year 9 (S3 Scotland, Year 10 NI) RAF online engineering supported course based on true to life humanitarian type missions undertaken by RAF personnel. Working with the RAF, our expert team of Education Officers has developed a series of humanitarian engineering challenges hosted within an online learning platform; RAF personnel are also on-hand to offer support and guidance. Practically explore how engineering can have a positive impact on the world with all the resources provided for you. Course timings: 12 - 15 April 2021, day one 9.30 am - 1.00 pm, remaining days 10am – 1.00pm. Content delivered by Smallpeice Trust. (Priority on this course will be given to non-selective state school applicants. Application closing date - 15.2.21. After completing the application form, The Smallpeice Trust will contact you by email for you to submit a 150 word statement on why you want to attend this RAF STEM course and what you hope to get out of it. This will form part of the RAF’s selection process. Please note some data will be passed to the RAF for the selection process. Successful applicants will be notified w/c 1.3.21).
