Harness the Breeze: Fuel STEM Passion in Your Classroom!
Embark on an eco-friendly journey with your students as they tackle the Wind Challenge.
Choose from one of three times during the day that fits in with your school timetable for your students to follow along to design and build their own wind turbines. This hands-on session promises dynamic collaboration as students work together to harness the power of the wind.
In the role of energy engineers, your students will explore concepts such as aerodynamics, energy conversion, and sustainability through this fun and engaging engineering challenge.
The CREST Awards are a nationally recognised scheme run by the British Science Association. Students will record each challenge they complete in their CREST SuperStar Award passport and once they have done eight, will receive a certificate and iron-on badge. Students must complete all 8 activities to receive their CREST SuperStar Award Certificate and iron-on badge!
