We’re delighted to offer students a morning of fully funded, virtual engineering activities for Science Week 2023, sponsored by global tech company Thales.
The Glider Challenge gets students working in teams to design, build and test three glider projects. For up to 45 Year 4, 5 or 6 (England & Wales), P5, P6 or P7 (Scotland) and Year 5, 6 or 7 (Northern Ireland).
Students will spend a morning planning, building, and testing their gliders, working in teams to develop their teamwork, timekeeping and leadership skills.
These events are only for schools in Glasgow, Belfast, Somerset, West Sussex and Stockport areas.

Taking place during Science Week 2023, these awesome STEM projects will spark your students’ imagination and encourage them to explore their interests in STEM.
These activities will take place between 9:30 and 12:00, on the following dates in Science Week 2023: 10th, 14th and 15th March.
Booking is now open. Please note that this opportunity is limited to a certain number of schools, so interested schools are advised to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
