Success Story: Sales Ledger Administrator, Abigail Gumery, Shares Apprenticeship Insights
Last year, The Smallpeice Trust proudly announced that Sales Ledger Administrator, Abigail Gumery, was selected as the winner of The City of Coventry Freeman's Guild Apprentice of the Year 2023.
This recognition underscores the Guild's commitment to spotlighting and commending the accomplishments of young talents, emphasising the pivotal role apprentices play across all sectors.
Abigail joined The Smallpeice Trust in March last year and has now successfully completed her AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and has now moved on to her AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. Abigail was also the Trust’s first apprentice.
Company Secretary, Deborah Austin, said "Abigail is the first apprentice the Trust has taken on under the National Apprentice Scheme and has demonstrated a commitment to her work, displaying a strong work ethic, having a proactive approach and has made excellent progression with a positive attitude at all times."
